“Amazing Grace” Is Coming…

 

Today’s Workout:

Front Squat:
3-3-3

Hang Power Clean:
3-3-3

Push Jerk:
1-1-1

Chubbs was right. It’s all in the hips. The faster you can get your hips into the bar the better your clean will be. The harder you jump and move your feet the stronger your jerk will be. On October 29th we will be doing “Grace” or 30 Clean and Jerks at 135/95lbs for time. For strong and efficient athletes this is a quick workout that hurts the lungs, for those who need more development in their Olympic Lifting it is a longer strength challenge. Your goal over the next month should be to start thinking of these weights as light because your hips are strong and fast.
