More than anything CrossFit is a daily competition with yourself. However, it can be helpful to work with and against other athletes to help push your performance to the next level. Friendly competition is thus a very powerful tool in athletics. This is one of the myriad benefits of working out in a group atmosphere and recording scores. As the saying goes “a rising tide lifts all boats.”
