Scaling Up?
Today’s Workout:
Deadlift 3-3-3-3-3
Then:
AMRAP 10
Kettlebell Swings 1.5/1 Pood
We do a lot of scaling in our workouts. It is necessary when athletes are still developing the skills and strength required to go RX. However, scaling doesn’t have to only mean going down in difficulty. If you have done RX workouts for a long time it can be fun to try scaling them up. Throw some more weight on the bar, go chest to bar on pull-ups, wear a weight vest, take the kip out of your HSPU, or any other ideas you come up with. This is also a great way to bias strength a little more over other skills.

Gang, I’m thrilled to report that we have an amazing coach at CFG. Today was Coach Na’s first workout, and she’s awesome! Everybody needs to find out her schedule and come welcome her. She totally killed it right out of the gate. The early morning class was amazing. We have a great new addition – and we’re super lucky.
Things have gotten so easy that i have resorted to doing everything one-handed. HaHa
I intended to write in my first sentence above…”I’m thrilled to report we have an amazing NEW coach at CFG.” I meant no disrespect to Coach Conn. Just quick writing.
