It’s that time of year again everybody. The sun is out, the weather’s warm and you may feel a tug to go and get into the water… rumor also has it (doesn’t it Colin) that the CrossFit Games this year will have some kind of water element to them. What’s that you say? You aren’t a good swimmer?
Worry not CPC’ers (and CFGers), your coaches have logged a lot of hours in Speedos (I’m actually wearing one right now, it’s laundry day). We’ve both spent so much time on swim teams and water polo teams that the smell of chlorine gives us mild PTSD, but we’re willing to put that aside to share our collective aquatic knowledge.
On June 11th from 8:30am – 11:00am we will be holding the second round of our H20 Seminar. For any of you that are looking to either improve your current swimming technique, are interested in becoming more efficient in the first leg of your triathlons this summer, or if you would like to complete some of our own upcoming swimming WOD’s, this a great opportunity to get quality coaching in small group environment.
We will be covering basics from treading water and survival swimming all the way up to drilling the most efficient ways to swim in open water (oceans, lakes). The only skill level requirement that we’re asking for is for you to be able to get from one end of a pool to another in some capacity without drowning. If your skill level is below that we’ll be happy to work with you on an individual basis.
So gather your water wings and your courage and join us for the morning! The cost is $85, the experience is priceless.

I love the title of this post. Zoolander references should be a required part of every day.
Stoked about the swimming seminar, especially now that the main site is programming a couple swimming WODs.
