Body positioning when going inverted is a difficult thing to master. There is a common tendency to open up the body and get into a position that resembles a standing press gone bad. In fact the ideal position in a handstand is very similar to the ideal press lock out. Kicking up to have your back to the wall makes it especially hard to hold a hollow body position. The more you can tighten up and stack your body up on a line the easier both handstands and handstand pushups will be.
