Happy Birthday Sarah (and Mark yesterday even though he told me it wasn’t)! Hope you enjoy the workout created in your honor.

Update on the Games:

We are entering the last week of the 2011 CrossFit Games Open. Currently Coach Pappas is in 54th and Coach Conn is in 63rd and both are in need of a solid final performance to secure or earn a spot at Regionals. The last workout has been posted and is “Franish” combining Thrusters and Chest To Bar Pull-ups. Throughout the Open we have seen incredible and inspiring performances from all of our athletes competing. In 11.3 Josh found his Clean and Jerk PR (165) the day of the workout and threw down some solid reps. Katie has also been working to push near PR weights and taking her motion standards to the next level to throw her hat into the ring. Until this weekend Chris J. was in the top 150 in Southern California after only a few months of CrossFitting. All of our athletes have been showing up and trying the Open workouts on Saturdays and have been putting up impressive results and improvements. Despite any hiccups with the website, or the format, or the possibility of questionable judging, or the lack of max effort heavy lifting some of us were really hoping for the Games have inspired a lot of great performances and helped many of us to take our fitness a little further. For that they are all ready worth the 10$ entry fee.

  1. I never said it wasn’t. You just didn’t hear me clearly because you were busy “no-repping” my penalty burpees.
