Happy Birthday Cristina! This WOD’s for you. Nicole was one of Cristina’s first workouts and she was crushed by it using a band. Today will be a much different story. I am excited to see how this round goes.




You have NO idea how long I’ve been waiting to get at this WOD again.
The first time I tango-ed with Nicole, was June of last year. It was my first group WOD. I used a green band and I would not run for fear of hurting my knee.
Needless to say there was no dancing with Nicole. She dominated me. I rowed instead of ran, used the green-band for pull-ups and finished with 4 rounds for a total count of 23.
This morning was MUCH different. I ran free of knee problems, and kept a consistent pace (no “wogging”). And I did the pullups Rx (no band!).
In the end I completed 5 rounds for a total of 44 reps. Plus I PR-ed on max rep pullups in my first round for 17. This is the best birthday present I have ever given myself; to know at 30 I am in better shape than I was in my 20s? I’ll take that and then some. Thank you very much Crossfit Goodland!
