Her actual birthday was yesterday, but she told me she wouldn’t be able to make it in for her celebratory workout. Happy Birthday Whitney! Thanks for being a part of CFG and one of our first few OGs.

I tried hard, nearly puked and still didn’t finish. My body was shaking for nearly an hour afterward. Have fun everyone.
Today’s Actual Workout:

I already did 3 workouts (one outside of normal classes) before today and told Nick I may or may not come in today. But when I saw the burpees this morning, my interest was piqued. I did a little math based on my 100 burpees for time and I figured this would take at least 45 minutes. So I took my shoes and workout clothes with me to work. At the end of the day I texted Mike and said, let’s go for a run, I don’t feel like doing 500 burpees. So we went out and ran 2 miles at Ellwood. On our way home I said, screw it, take me to the gym, I’m going to do 500 burpees. So Mike dropped me off and I was sad to find out we weren’t really doing 500 burpees
I did learn a valuable lesson: never go running BEFORE going to any CrossFit workout.
