POWERLIFTING

Competition drives your fitness. Every day you come into CFG you are competing with yourself, the clock, and other athletes. This will be no different, but the atmosphere will compel you to perform at your highest level. Being a little scared or nervous is totally natural and actually a necessary part of preparation for competing. Whether you think you will win or you just want to try competing for the first time I highly recommend stepping outside your comfort zone and participating. You don't want to miss out and wish you had. Worst case scenario: you have a great day hanging out with some awesome people and stud athletes that ends in a BBQ.

    Then: 8:30 GHD
I got into a really good rhythm on the rower. I settled in at a 1:54 pace and got off the rower sometime before 3:51. The sit-ups were tough but I banged out the back extensions to try and make up for lost time on the sit-ups. In the end, I was pretty stoked to beat a dude (I won’t name names) on today’s WOD! It was only by 2 seconds, but hey, I did it 2 seconds faster!!
