Top Performance: Chris J. 4 rounds. Elizabeth 3 rounds (18lb KBs, Green Band, 53lb Clean).

Today's workout commemorates one of the greatest speakers in history. MLK inspired an entire nation to take a good hard look at its ugly side and work to eradicate it. There is still plenty of work to be done in the same vein today, but dreamers like Martin Luther King Jr. show us that anything is possible when you put your heart into it.

  1. Sounds like a tough workout! I couldn’t make it to either of the classes today so I’m planning some Tabata pushups after a run later this evening.

  2. I had forearm nightmares from last monday during this workout, I think I’ll be alright.

  3. Went for a walk (instead of a run) with Mike to enjoy the beautiful evening and then did:
    Tabata pushups: 5 knees (Focused on my form. Was consistent with 7 through the 5th round, then the 6th round I got wimpy and only did 5. Finished the 7th and 8th rounds with 6).
    Tabata situps: 12 (Bought an abmat with leftover $$ from an Amazon gift card, so figured I better put it to use. Got 12 every round.)
