The back squat is epic. There are few things more awesome than putting a heavy load on your back and squatting it. It is a great total body strength tool and requires a surprising amount of technique to be performed correctly. The most basic form points are to keep your weight on your heels, knees out over the feet, sink the crease of the hip below the cap of the patella (below parallel), and maintain a neutral spine. Squatting is elemental to many of the functional motions we use and is thus important to practice often.
