Sunday we will be taking a field trip down to Malibu for the Spartan Race! If you are signed up please email me so that we can arrange carpools if you are interested in sharing rides.   1. 12 (+12) — scaled pushups to work on technique.
    This was a great workout for working on my snatch and pushup technique. I felt very comfortable with the 45 lb snatches, but it was heavy enough to make me do the motion correctly and make the bar float above my head. The repetition and weight were perfect for helping me become more comfortable with the snatch. I will look forward to a loaded snatch day. I don’t like having to do my pushups scaled, but I know it will make my technique better. I worked on them Saturday at home against the wall and then tonight on my knees and really focused on getting my elbows back and squeezing my shoulders together. I felt better with them today so hopefully I’ll get my upper body strength up and start pumping out pushups soon.

  2. Yea I think a lot of people had the same experience. Gotta use those hips. Ill be making up this bad boy tomorrow.

     
  3. made this up today 16 rounds (+6). still feeling rough on metcons. need to do a few more before im back.
