Overall I am really happy with the increase in weight and # of pull-ups. I would have liked to take more time off the running and burpies portion of the WOD but taking 1:24 off isn’t bad. I am looking forward to continuing to get get better and finding out what I can do.
I really liked eating Paleo style and I’ve lost a good bit of weight since I started (speaking of weight, will there be a follow up with Kara to measure or body composition and weight to find out how we did there?). Today I put on a pair of jeans that I haven’t been able to wear in 2 years. That felt awesome. I also feel better and more energetically stable throughout the day. I don’t miss much except some bread now and then, but I definitely don’t need it and can live without it. I think one of the biggest things I learned from the challenge is portion control. When I moved in with my bf a couple of years ago I think I tried to eat as much as he did and that was totally ridiculous. If you feed your body the right things it doesn’t need as much and runs just fine, if not better. I will continue to eat paleo from now on.
Nick, thanks for facilitating a great challenge. I learned a lot and improved a bunch in the box. It feels great to be getting back into the kind of shape I was once in!
I love this pic of Whitney

I’m happiest with my OHS; wanted more on the pullups but my grip failed me – should have done them faster; and am relatively pleased with the metcon, my running sucks, so my new goal will be to work on that skill.
I stuck to the paleo diet for the most part, with the exception of wine/beer on occasion and that darned wedding. I lost inches for sure. I definitely notice better energy levels throughout the day, post meals especially, but also think I’ll incorporate some whole grain bread or pita from time to time to feel satiated. I can definitely do without the dairy though. Overall, I’m eating much, much healthier. I agree with Katie – thanks Nick!
I’m glad you ladies enjoyed the challenge. Things will only continue to get better if you continue to keep up with the amount of effort you have been putting into wods and healthy living. Thanks for posting your experiences and workout times!
