Allright all you crazy CrossFitters it's time for a new type of challenge. This week you have a homework assignment. You must come up with a goal for your training. Goals can focus on athletic performance, body composition/weight, lifestyle, or anything you can think of that can be achieved through physical exertion and nutrition. In addition to a goal you must also come up with a reasonable timeline within which to complete it. Goals must be detailed and specific. For example: "I want to lose weight" is not acceptable, but "I want to lose 5 pounds by November 25th" is. We will be compiling our new goal board next week so put some thought into it because once it's on the board you have to do it. Seriously. Email me or talk to me if you need help.

  1. That video is awesome — I want to lift heavy shit like that!!
Can’t even come close to reproducing my weights from today’s WOD here. Wrote them down in my notebook. My push jerk was a little wimpy to start, but by the 5th round I was feeling much more confident with the movement. I went with 73 on my last three rounds and even though I was tired on the 5th set, I felt the strongest as my technique was getting better. I had my best jerk on the last rep of the workout. The timing was perfect and when I put it up I realized with that kind of timing I could do a lot more weight. A nice realization.

  3. What happens if you don’t actualize your goal? I have a feeling burpees is involved in the answer.

It doesn't have to be fun... to be fun.
