Matt Major is coming up to visit for the 6:30 Class on Monday. The class will be limited in size and we only have 4 spots left. It's also free. If you would like to work on some Olympic Lifting with a great coach please shoot me an email to reserve your spot. Matt used to compete in Olympic Lifting for Oregon and now coaches and works out down at CrossFit Ventura. The Olympic Lifts are the most technical lifts in our arsenal, but if you can perform them well every other motion is much simpler in comparison. They are great for developing explosive power, speed, timing, and neuromuscular control.

There were too many numbers to remember, but I did pushups instead of bench press. My pushups have improved tremendously and I am so close to getting my first kipping pull up. I’ve got it down to using the red band, now I just need to take that leap and do them without a band. The time is coming…

Came home to a delicious crock pot dinner — roast and carrots. Had a salad on the side. Didn’t miss the usual potatoes that go with it.
Bummed I missed this workout. I think I’m going to do it over the weekend since today ended up being my rest day.
