Thanks to Justin Riley of CrossFit East Sac for coming by and hitting a workout at the Goodland this week. Justin is the one who forced me to try CrossFit for the first time. He is a great coach and really helped me out with some of the kinks in my Jerk.

For dinner we baked chicken breast with an almond meal crust. Just dipped the chicken in an egg wash with herbs, dropped it in the almond meal, gave it a quick fry and then baked it. Pretty good. Had acorn squash on the side with cinnamon instead of brown sugar.
Nick — any advice on what and when to eat Saturday before FGB?

Paleo total remains a whopping 18. Being at home is making it easier tho.

Katie – I might recommend a banana w/almond butter in the morning.
Paleo: 3 points. 2 protein shakes, scotch.
I thought I might be drinking too much wine so I switched to scotch. Good call.
My total for the challenge is way up there.
Some lean protein and fruit would be a great idea. Ill probably have bacon, eggs, and some fruit. Eat a while before your workout and stay hydrated.
