UCSB Rugby and CrossFit: a match made in heaven.
Kara and I have been putting together another Paleo Challenge to get everyone's diets back on track. On Monday, September 13 Kara will be hosting a Nutrition seminar during the 6:30 class. We will explain the details and begin the month long challenge that night as well as seek to answer any questions you may have about nutrition. You are not required to participate, but it is HIGHLY recommended. Just like helping to bring intensity to your work out, having a group of friends and fellow athletes to support your nutritional goals can do wonders. Diet is the cornerstone of athletic progress. Proper diet can help to give you better energy, recovery, prevent disease, prevent inflammation, and be delicious all at the same time.

Robb Wolf, Former Research Biochemist and Paleolithic Nutrition Expert, just wrote a new book. It is definitely worth a read.

It doesn't have to be fun... to be fun.
