Christos has been with us now for almost 8 months, which is longer than most. In that time he has worked his ass off and been pretty consistent coming in at least 2 days a week as well as hitting some workouts on his own and surfing. In the past few weeks his performances have been absolutely incredible. He has 5 repped 10lbs more than his previous 1 rep max on deadlift, pullling 285. He has completed 20 muscle ups and 300 double unders in an RX workout (even though he hates double unders) having never done more that a few muscle ups in a warm-up or just messing around. Yesterday, though, he completely amazed us all and decimated "Helen." His previous time was 22:09 RX and he dropped it to 11:49 RX nearly cutting it in half. Christos's dedication and effort are paying big dividends in his performances in the gym and it has been incredible to see his progress. Success in CrossFit comes not through short stints of commitment, but through sustained consistency as evidenced by Christos's example. Keep up the hard work and you too will see the type of return Christos is experiencing. I am proud to not only call Christos an athlete of CrossFit Goodland, but also a close friend.

i went out way hard on the rower and paid dearly for it. i died hard in the end. it was uncomfortable.
