Mark your calendars! On Saturday, April 24th the UCSB Alumni Association will be holding a 5k and 10k run to raise money for it's scholarship fund. There will be food and music at Harder Stadium, the start and finish line of the race, as well as a lot of prizes and giveaways to winners and participants. Some fun variations of the race will also take place including a 1k "G-Kids" dash for kids 12 and under, and the Dioji Dog Dash in which runners race with their dogs to try to win a 3 month supply of dog food. For the 10k run there is a team competition for 5-9 people to run the race together and get scored as a team. If you are interested in running on the CrossFit Goodland team please let me know (we can enter more than one and teams are co-ed). If you just want to run as an individual you can register at www.ucsbruns.com! This will be a really fun event, and it supports an awesome cause so lets show up and run hard!
