Endurance?
Today's WOD
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes
500m Row
400m Run
Today's workouts is one of those outliers in which we will work primarily on cardiorespiratory endurance. There are a couple ways to go about doing so. You can either pace it out and try to maintain a consistent output, or go as hard as you can for as long as you can and then just keep moving. Which method is more effective you might ask? The answer is it depends. Pacing is great for competition or practicing for competition, as it requires effort and timing to know exactly what type of pace you can maintain. Raging is effective for eliciting a high power output and is recommended in our circumstance: training. Whichever method you choose row hard and run fast, and seek to be as energy efficient as possible.

ohh this sounds horrible… I like it!
Nick,
How many rounds did you get on this WOD?
JG, I apologize but those initials are drawing a blank, what is your name? I haven’t done that wod yet because I bike about 15-25 miles a day on top of coaching and training myself. I have been keeping my wods short and intense or heavy for this reason. I want to hit it though, and I will try to get it done on a day I don’t have to bike as much. Peng got 4 rounds and about halfway through another row. Pretty solid.
My lacrosse nickname was Fat Boy…
Oh my god. I am an idiot. I love you fatboy. I’ll let you know when I take this one down for sure. Come up and visit again soon man.
