CrossFit does not just train the body. It trains the mind as well. The ugliest concept that can creep into your head during a workout is "I can't." In fact the word "can't" should no longer exist in your vocabulary, unless someone is offering you some cake when you are trying to go strict Paleo. You are capable of much more than you may think, but once the mental positivity and fortitude shuts down so do you. It doesn't matter if it takes you 2 minutes or 20 minutes to do "Fran," as long as you put in the effort and complete the workout both your body and mind will become stronger. A wise rugby coach once told me that "fatigue makes cowards of us all," but it doesn't have to if you can overcome the discomfort and simply focus on the task at hand.
