A lot of people have the misconception that you all ready have to be in great shape to start CrossFit. This is simply not the case. The daily WODs that are posted are meant to challenge even the highest level of athlete. Scaling is the art of adapting the WOD the the needs and ability of any individual. To scale we can reduce the weight, number of reps, distance, or use a similar but less demanding variant of a motion. With a little scaling and a lot of work you will be tackling RX WODs in no time. The most important thing to see improvements in fitness and overall health is to do as much as you can with what you have.
