The Handstand
Smitty and I up near Montecito Peak
Developing a good handstand is a lot like developing any athletic skill. It takes a lot of repetition and practice. Being able to stand on the hands is a sure sign of balance, strength, and control. Start by learning the "kick up," then possibly take it to the wall to develop a little more confidence and practice. Soon enough you'll be doing pirouettes on the paralellettes.

Hey Nick, any tips for teaching an old gal double unders???? Cute pic! Susan
once you get single unders down with good posture it is just a matter of trying to throw them and learning the faster rhythm. try just doing one then going back to singles and keeping that up first. then alternating. then just doubleundering like a pro.
