Training vs. Practice

Erica

Erica practices the Overhead Squat.

Initially when you start CrossFit, or any physical training regimen, much of the work you do is actually practice. Practice is focused work that promotes neurological adaptation. Once this adaptation has been maximized, the real training can begin. Training is work that causes physical (connective tissue) adaptation in the body. Only through a combination of training and practice can one truly find a balance among yesterday's 10 General Skills.

Today's Workout:

As Many Rounds As Possible in 20 minutes

10 65lb/45lb Thruster
10 Pull-ups

  2. Where do I get one of those? and to think I have been working out so hard every day when I could have been just “shaking” for 6 minutes a day to have buff arms! Maybe you need to be young, too! Susan

It doesn't have to be fun... to be fun.
